Example:
If you decided to follow our signals using an ultra-aggressive strategy, you would buy shares of DXQLX when a LONG signal is issued. DXQLX seeks to achieve 250% of the daily performance of NDX; basically, if NDX goes up 1%, your return would be roughly 2.5%.
When a SHORT is issued, you would then exchange your shares of DXQLX for shares of DXQSX. The goal of DXQSX is to achieve 250% of the inverse of the daily performance of NDX. Now whenever NDX drops by 1%, you are making 2.5%.
At the present time, the Direxion funds listed above are the only known mutual funds that offer greater than 2 ½ times leverage to NDX. As leveraging increases in popularity, it is presumable that other mutual fund companies will begin forming 2 ½ times (or even greater) leveraged funds. Our current plans are to only provide performance date for Direxion Funds.
